January holding strong…
January was a good month for our niche, with surprisingly strong results. Nursing has lagged behind Technologists all year and that trend continued into 2025. However, while not performing quite as well as Technologists, the Nursing market was a lot stronger in January than we’ve seen in previous Januarys the last two years. Technologists, on the other hand, continue to push forward with strong order volumes. While there was a slight dropoff in volume, Technologist orders have been plentiful. Rates for both Nursing and Technologist orders have remained pretty steady, while in years past January brought a steep decline. In 2025, rates were largely flat compared to the last few months and even showed some strong increases in Electrophysiology which we haven’t seen in a few months.
