Maybe a hiccup…
The July market did have some nice volumes (besides the IR Nursing), though rates fell. Nursing rates all converged on the $2,700 mark across all the agencies (AYA, Medical Solutions, Phoenix, Cross Country, Fusion and Triage) and there were some dips on the Technologist rates as well. Geographical trends are becoming clearer with the South and Southeast being outpaced by the orders in the West, North and Northeast. Big takeaway this month is that there definitely are some high paying contracts coming out, but they open and close quickly. If you’re in the market, right now is not the time for questions – by the time we get the answer, the submissions for the job are already full. It’s a fast moving time!
