Warming of the market…
It’s a slow warming, but it does look like the frozen market from the first six months of 2024 is starting to thaw. In June, we finally saw some high-paying RN orders in both Cath Lab and IR. Electrophysiology RNs are still lagging the rest, though we hope it will follow suit for the fall season. Geographic trends and hotspots are back – looking at the maps, you’ll see clear geographic markets that are posting jobs higher than others. Technologist kept the slow slodding progress higher, but not a fast rate. Overall, some hospitals are trying to pick up cheap contracts and others are pushing higher rates. Corporate policies are dictating terms, as we see rate announcement affecting full health systems and not just one or two unique orders. Hospitals are trying to bring order to the chaos.
